What you need to know: When summer comes, the North Sea calms down, and the powerful currents disappear, making psicobloc (Deep Water Soloing) a great summer climbing adventure. The sea is calmer, but we recommend checking the condition via Surfline to make the trip worth it. You are looking for low wind and less than 0 - 2 ft of wave size. The climbs vary in difficulty between 5.10 to 5.11d, and there are many possible projects for the first ascend. Some are easy to get to by walking, and others by swimming to the wall, rappelling, or jumping down.
